Job summary

KPM Property Management seeks a dedicated HVAC Lead Maintenance Technician to join our team in Dallas. This full-time role ensures the smooth operation and upkeep of our residential properties through hands-on maintenance, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and painting tasks to keep residents safe and comfortable.

The ideal candidate has 1–3 years of maintenance experience, a high school diploma, valid driver’s license, and strong troubleshooting and communication skills.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years' experience in general maintenance or related field.
• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certifications a plus.
• Basic knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and carpentry systems.
• Ability to troubleshoot and perform repairs independently.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, or on-call as needed.
• Commitment to safety and attention to detail.
• Customer service-oriented attitude and professionalism.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and repair work across plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and painting.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergency repairs.
• Assist with apartment make-ready tasks between residents.
• Conduct regular inspections of property facilities and equipment.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and supply inventory in good condition.
• Collaborate with team members and property management to meet maintenance goals.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations.
• Support special maintenance projects as assigned.
