Rodenhiser Home Services, Inc. is seeking an experienced HVAC Lead to drive all phases of new system installations from preview to final commissioning. This role emphasizes timely project execution, safety, and customer satisfaction.

You will mentor apprentices, coordinate with project managers, and ensure accurate documentation. A valid license, EPA certification, and strong technical communication are required.

Qualifications

• EPA certification with knowledge of applicable installation and venting codes.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
• Completion of a certified HVAC installation training program and apprenticeship.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Interest in further technical development across disciplines.
• Oil burner experience a plus.
• Ability to explain technical information to non-technical customers.

Responsabilités

• Lead all facets of new HVAC system installation from video preview through all steps in the Install System process.
• Complete jobs on time and under budget, supporting the company’s financial goals.
• Establish strong customer rapport to ensure high satisfaction.
• Collaborate with Project Manager and Install Coordinators to ensure project completion.
• Maintain daily communication with Project Manager and office staff.
• Keep a clean, organized job site and well-inventoried truck.
• Perform follow-up calls in your area of expertise.
• Train and mentor apprentices to ensure on-time, high-quality installations.
• Maintain accurate paperwork, checklists, invoices, and post-job videos.
• Participate in department meetings and vendor trainings.
