Southern Home Services is seeking an HVAC Lead Install Technician to oversee the installation, upgrade, and replacement of residential HVAC systems. You will lead a team of technicians, ensure high-quality service, and engage with homeowners to deliver exceptional outcomes.

The role requires HVAC experience, EPA certification, and a valid driver’s license, with responsibilities spanning technical leadership, customer interaction, and safety compliance in a dynamic home-services environment.

Qualifications

• 1+ year HVAC experience in residential settings.
• Valid Driver’s License with at least 3 years of driving experience.
• Holds EPA certification for environmental compliance.
• Advanced troubleshooting and critical thinking to resolve HVAC issues.
• Proactive, enthusiastic approach with commitment to high-quality work.
• Strong customer service orientation and ability to address client needs.

Responsibilities

• Oversee installation, upgrade, and replacement of residential HVAC systems.
• Lead a team of technicians on job sites and in the shop.
• Train and mentor Install Helpers on site and in the shop.
• Deliver excellent customer service and communicate effectively with homeowners.
• Handle physical tasks including lifting over 50 pounds.
• Maintain tools, parts, and vehicle in organized condition.
• Work safely at heights and in tight spaces under various conditions.
• Ensure compliance with appliance standards and safety regulations.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
