Job summary

Jetson is seeking an experienced HVAC installer to lead an install crew in Columbia, MD. You will remove gas furnaces, install heat pump systems, and work closely with engineering to improve products and install processes.

The role requires a Maryland HVACR Journeyman license (BPI preferred), ability to read blueprints, knowledge of building codes, and strong customer-service skills. This is a full-time, in-person position with Jetson benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as an install team member and team lead.
• Active Maryland HVACR Journeyman License issued by the Maryland Board of Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning and Refrigeration (HVACR) Contractors (required).
• BPI certification preferred.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC systems.
• Ability to read blueprints and schematics.
• Familiarity with building codes and regulations in the Denver area.
• Excellent problem-solving skills.
• Excellent English communications and customer service skills.
• Follows OSHA Electrical Standard.
• Follows the Occupational Safety and Health Administration’s (OSHA) Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) standard.

Responsibilities

• Remove existing HVAC equipment.
• Install new heat pump systems.
• Perform routine maintenance tasks such as cleaning and replacing filters.
• Test heat pump systems to ensure proper functionality.
• Follow blueprints, schematics, and building codes when installing or repairing systems.
• Collaborate with other technicians and engineering teams on the product and processes.
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing client concerns and answering questions.
• Train team members on the Jetson equipment and install procedures.
