Job summary

Honeywell Technologies in Acton, MA seeks a Lead Field Service HVAC Controls/BAS Technician to provide advanced technical support and leadership for building automation systems. You will lead onsite installations, commissioning, and service, troubleshoot complex issues, and guide junior technicians while ensuring safety and quality.

The role reports to the Senior Service Manager and is based at Acton, MA on an onsite schedule.

Qualifications

5+ years in HVAC controls and BAS
Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, controls and DDC systems
5+ years programming, configuring and commissioning HVAC control systems
Experience leading field installations, startups and commissioning tasks
Mentoring junior technicians and providing field leadership

Responsibilities

Lead onsite installation, commissioning, and service of Honeywell BAS and HVAC equipment
Act as technical lead on projects, training and guiding technicians and customers
Troubleshoot and diagnose HVAC control systems including VAVs, AHUs, chillers, boilers, sensors and networks
Program and commission Honeywell platforms (Spyder, CIPer, WEBs, EBI, Niagara)
Interpret drawings and sequences of operation to verify system functionality
Coordinate with project managers and customers to resolve issues and maintain schedules
Identify opportunities to improve energy efficiency and building performance
Provide documentation, redlines, and as-built drawings per Honeywell standards
