Job summary

Honeywell is seeking a Sr. Building Automation Systems (BAS) / HVAC Controls Technician to deliver expert service for Honeywell customers. The role focuses on diagnosing, troubleshooting, and optimizing BAS and HVAC controls, with emphasis on safety, reliability, and energy efficiency across building systems.

You will work directly with customers and internal teams, supporting modernization efforts and contributing to cybersecurity and performance enhancements in mission-critical facilities.

Qualifications

• 3+ years diagnosing and servicing Building Automation Systems and HVAC controls.
• 3+ years experience in BAS, HVAC controls, troubleshooting, DDC systems, and field service.
• Experience with Windows OS, Outlook, Excel, Word, and networked control systems.
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record.
• High School Diploma/GED required.

Responsibilities

• Technical Service Delivery: Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and optimize BAS and HVAC controls; perform preventive maintenance; document activities.
• Building Automation & Network Systems: Configure BAS networks; troubleshoot communications; collaborate with IT on security and connectivity.
• Customer Success & Relationship Management: Build trusted relationships; communicate findings; provide training; identify improvements.
• Safety, Quality & Compliance: Conduct hazard assessments; follow safety policies; ensure regulatory compliance; maintain docs for audits.
• Operational Excellence: Maintain documentation; manage tools/assets; participate in emergency response; pursue ongoing technical development.
