Job summary

Honeywell is seeking a Lead Field Service HVAC Controls/BAS Technician in Acton, MA. You will lead onsite installation, commissioning, and service of BAS and HVAC equipment, troubleshoot complex HVAC control issues, and provide technical guidance to junior technicians.

You will report to the Sr Service Manager and work onsite; a strong background in HVAC controls, DDC, and Niagara-based systems is required. The role emphasizes safety, documentation, and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

Minimum of 5 years in HVAC controls and BAS.
Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, controls, DDC, and BAS tech.
Proficiency in troubleshooting and diagnostics of HVAC control systems.
Experience programming, configuring, commissioning, and modifying HVAC controls.
Experience leading field installations and mentoring technicians.
Ability to obtain pre-employment drug screening and background check.

Responsibilities

Lead onsite installation, commissioning, and service of BAS and HVAC equipment.
Serve as technical lead, training and supporting technicians and customers.
Perform advanced troubleshooting and diagnostics of HVAC control systems.
Program and commission Honeywell platforms such as Spyder, CIPer, WEBs, EBI, and Niagara.
Interpret drawings and sequences of operation for proper integration.
Ensure safety, quality, and adherence to Honeywell standards.
