Job summary

Community Partners in Action (CPA) is a nonprofit organization serving adults and youth in Connecticut, supporting reentry, housing, and related services. The Hartford Transitional House provides structured, supervised residential support to men, promoting responsibility and recovery.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Experience working with justice-involved clients and/or in human services is a plus.
• Bilingual ability (Spanish/English) desired.

Responsibilities

• Supervise residents and monitor activities per program policies.
• Advocate for participant participation and accountability.
• Mediate resident conflicts using solutions-focused approaches.
• Maintain professional boundaries with residents, staff, and visitors.
• Ensure safety through de-escalation and adherence to procedures.
• Prepare incident reports and maintain shift logs.
