Job summary

Monarch Casino Resort Spa is seeking a Housekeeping Supervisor in Black Hawk, Colorado, to lead daily housekeeping operations across rooms and public areas within a premier casino resort. You will manage Room Attendants, Inspectors, and support staff, ensuring cleanliness, safety, and service standards while coordinating with Front Desk and Operations.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, prior housekeeping experience preferred, and the ability to train, coach, and communicate

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED preferred.
Previous housekeeping experience preferred.
Ability to complete assigned duties with attention to detail, speed, accuracy, and follow-through.
Availability to work weekends based on operational needs.
Physical requirements: stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds as required.
Effective communication with team members and other departments.

Responsibilities

Oversee daily operation of Housekeeping department including Room Attendants, Inspectors, and Housepersons.
Monitor room assignments, productivity, and cleanliness standards.
Coordinate priorities with Front Desk and hotel leadership.
Coach and train team members on cleaning standards and safety procedures.
Address performance and policy concerns and assist with guest complaints and service recovery.
Maintain inventory, equipment, and safety compliance.
