Job summary

Loews Hotels, LLC. in St. Louis is seeking a proactive Housekeeping Supervisor to lead daily room cleaning and public area operations. You will inspect rooms, assign tasks, train staff, and partner with Front Office and Engineering to ensure timely readiness. Strong organizational and safety focus required.

You’ll supervise a team of attendants, ensure adherence to brand standards, and drive guest satisfaction through meticulous cleanliness and service excellence.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in housekeeping or hospitality required; supervisory experience preferred
• Strong organizational and leadership skills
• Ability to work weekends, holidays, and flexible shifts
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Knowledge of cleaning techniques, safety standards, and inventory management
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Teams, PowerPoint)

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily housekeeping activities, including room cleaning, turndown service, and public area upkeep
• Inspect guest rooms and public spaces to ensure cleanliness and adherence to standards
• Assign tasks and manage workload to meet operational needs
• Respond promptly to guest requests and resolve issues professionally
• Lead, coach, and motivate housekeeping team members
• Conduct training on cleaning techniques, safety procedures, and brand standards
• Provide feedback and support career development opportunities
• Coordinate with Front Office and Engineering to ensure timely room readiness
• Communicate effectively with team members and other departments
• Assist with scheduling, payroll, and inventory management
• Maintain accurate records of inspections, supplies, and performance metrics
• Regularly lift up to 45 pounds and stand for extended periods
