Job summary

Extended Stay America is seeking a full-time Lead Housekeeper to support the management team in overseeing cleaning standards and training across the housekeeping department. The role works independently with limited supervision and collaborates with the maintenance technician on preventive maintenance and deep cleaning programs.

You will inspect guest rooms, supervise 3+ staff, and ensure compliance with company policies while driving performance improvements and maintaining a great guest

Qualifications

• English literacy and comprehension of simple instructions.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure.
• Demonstrates good judgment in daily tasks.
• Support and supervise 3+ housekeeping staff.
• Coach and train new and existing associates on standards.

Responsibilities

• Oversee housekeeping tasks and standards as lead.
• Train new and existing housekeepers and inspect rooms.
• Coordinate with maintenance for preventive maintenance and deep cleaning.
• Perform daily housekeeping tasks and weekend room cleaning as needed.
• Ensure overall hotel cleanliness and brand standards.
