Job summary

Extended Stay America is seeking a Housekeeper to maintain guest room cleanliness in accordance with company standards and procedures. The role requires delivering a welcoming experience and adhering to safety, security, and training requirements.

Responsibilities include cleaning assigned rooms, stocking carts, reporting maintenance issues, assisting guests, and completing Extended Stay University training as part of ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

• Understand instructions, policies, and guidelines and the ability to engage in effective communication with the manager and staff.
• Understand and follow guidelines, adhere to time objectives, productivity measurements and similar company standards and expectations.
• Apply good judgment at all times.

Responsibilities

• Cleans assigned guest rooms per company standards and procedures.
• Maintains carts, cart rooms and laundry areas to standard.
• Stocks carts and cart rooms as directed by management.
• Reports maintenance issues to front desk/manager on duty.
• Reports remaining guest property in checkout rooms to the front desk/manager on duty.
• Assists guests and provides accommodations when possible.
• Follows safety and security policies.
• Completes all Extended Stay University training.
• Assists with cleaning other hotel areas as assigned.
• Maintains overall hotel cleanliness.
• Performs other duties as assigned by management.
