Job summary

Extended Stay America in Irvine, CA seeks a full-time lead housekeeper to support management in overseeing tasks, training, and standards of the housekeeping department, with independent work and collaboration with the maintenance team for deep cleaning and inspections.

You will train staff, supervise guest room cleanliness, manage carts and laundry areas, and help implement company policies while contributing to guest satisfaction and operational efficiency.

Qualifications

• Previous hotel experience required.
• Experience supervising housekeeping staff is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform cleaning tasks as needed.

Responsibilities

• Trains new and existing housekeepers and inspects guest rooms.
• Ensures housekeeping carts, cart rooms and laundry areas meet standards.
• Works with maintenance engineer on guest room preventive maintenance and deep cleaning.
• Performs daily housekeeping tasks in guest rooms and weekend duties as needed.
• Maintains overall hotel cleanliness and supports department initiatives.
• Completes all required ESU Training.
