Job summary

Residence Inn Wilmette, IL is seeking a friendly, courteous supervisor to oversee the housekeeping and laundry teams. You will apply your leadership experience as an Executive Housekeeper and manage inventory, guest supplies, scheduling, planning, and assigning tasks.

This role offers opportunities to hire, train, and interview staff, while guiding a team to deliver exceptional guest stays and a great hotel experience.

Qualifications

• Highly organized.
• Must be able to work the majority of the shift in a standing position, constantly moving, and able to lift 30 pounds.
• Strong Guest Service skills
• Must have attention to detail and be customer service oriented
• Ability to communicate satisfactorily with guests, management, and co-workers

Responsibilities

• Lead the housekeeping team, providing guidance and work assignments
• Provide support and fill in when necessary
• Hire and train new members of the team
• Deliver items to guest rooms as needed such as towels, extra pillows, supplies, and respond to guest requests in a timely and courteous manner
• Work in a team environment and assist and support all members of the team to ensure a great hotel stay experience for the guests
