Job summary

KW Property Management and Consulting is seeking a Housekeeping Supervisor for our Miami properties. The role involves maintaining clean, safe common areas, supervising staff, ensuring sanitation standards, and coordinating with the maintenance department for repairs.

The ideal candidate has at least one year of supervisory housekeeping experience, knowledge of cleaning products, and the ability to respond quickly to emergencies while communicating effectively with teams and residents.

Qualifications

• At least one year experience in managing and supervising a housekeeping department.
• Knowledge of cleaning and sanitation products and how to properly use them.
• Ability to use standard cleaning equipment within a residential building; vacuum cleaner, floor polisher, cleaning cart, etc.
• Must have the ability to react and address all emergency situations in a timely manner.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Clean hallways, lobbies, lounges, restrooms, corridors, elevators, stairways, common rooms and other work areas to health standards.
• Empty wastebaskets and transport trash to disposal areas.
• Carry toilet items and cleaning supplies using wheeled carts.
• Sweep, scrub, wax, and polish floors with appropriate machines.
• Dust and polish furniture and equipment.
• Report maintenance items to the Building Maintenance Department.
• Disinfect equipment and supplies using germicides or steam sterilizers.
• Observe safety standards to maintain a safe work environment.
• Prepare rooms for meetings and arrange decorations and furniture for events.
