Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years experience in housekeeper, janitor, or porter roles in residential buildings.
• Knowledge of cleaning and sanitation products and safe use.
• Ability to operate standard cleaning equipment in a residential building.
• Ability to respond quickly to emergency situations.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Clean hallways, lobbies, restrooms, and common areas to meet health standards.
• Use vacuum cleaners, shampooers, and other equipment for carpets and fabrics.
• Empty wastebaskets and transport trash to disposal areas.
• Move cleaning supplies with wheeled carts as needed.
• Sweep, scrub, wax, and polish floors with appropriate tools.
• Dust and polish furniture and equipment.
• Report maintenance items to Building Maintenance Department.
• Observe safety standards for residents, guests, and property.
• Prepare rooms for meetings and arrange decorations and furniture.
• Respond to emergency maintenance requests as required.
