Winchester Gardens is seeking a Lead Housekeeper to join our team!

Winchester Gardens is a Springpoint Senior Living community located in Maplewood, NJ. We are seeking a full-time Lead Housekeeper responsible for maintaining a clean, sanitary, safe, and comfortable environment in the community. The role involves supporting and inspecting the housekeeping staff to ensure all procedures meet standards and overseeing the day-to-day operations of the Housekeeping Department.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure equipment is cleaned and properly stored at the end of each shift.
• Attend required in-service training sessions.
• Follow all safety procedures and infection control standards.
• Maintain utility and storage areas in good order and cleanliness.
• Handle and store cleaning chemicals in accordance with OSHA regulations.
• Scour and polish bathroom fixtures.
• Perform routine cleaning of resident rooms (sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, empty trash).
• Clean, sanitize, dust, and vacuum all areas daily.
• Follow work and cleaning schedules closely.
• Perform housekeeping tasks assigned by the supervisor.
• Participate in in-service training for tasks involving exposure to blood, body fluids, or hazardous chemicals.
• Maintain records, inventory, schedules, and initiate work plans.
• Ensure availability of supplies and equipment to meet daily needs.
• Ensure safety and fire regulations, including the Right to Know Act, are followed by residents, employees, and visitors.

Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• At least 1 year of supervisory or leadership experience.

Pay Range: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour
