Job Description: Lead Housekeeper

Location: Hospital for Special Surgery - 535 E 70th Street, New York, NY 10021

Schedule: Part-time, days vary, 6:00 am - 4:00 pm. Must work weekends and holidays. More details during interview.

Requirement: Housekeeping supervisor experience required.

Pay Rate: $26.92/hour

Job Summary

Supervise, train, and inspect housekeeping staff to ensure standards are met. Assist to provide excellent service to guests and maintain cleanliness and safety standards.

Responsibilities

1. Provide quality service with attention to detail.
2. Manage staff attendance and document absences or lateness.
3. Resolve guest complaints to ensure satisfaction.
4. Coordinate staff breaks and shift assignments.
5. Distribute and review assignment sheets, communicate updates.
6. Assign keys, radios, and beepers; maintain security records.
7. Inspect equipment and areas for cleanliness and functionality.
8. Assist staff to meet cleanliness standards.
9. Conduct staff training as needed.
10. Maintain professionalism and teamwork.
11. Perform other duties as assigned.
