Position Summary

Responsible for daily cleaning and supplying environmental services in healthcare areas. Assist staff as needed, take the lead under supervision, communicate effectively about productivity and safety, and advocate for front-line EVS technicians.

Qualifications

• Reading and numerical competency
• Previous housekeeping experience, preferably in healthcare, is a plus
• Ability to operate housekeeping equipment such as vacuum cleaners, buffers, mops, and carpet cleaning machines
• Basic customer service skills
• Adherence to Just Culture principles to ensure fair assessment of actions
• Ability to create a safety-conscious work environment where safety concerns can be raised freely
• Demonstrates commitment to safety in decisions and actions
• Promptly identifies, evaluates, and addresses safety issues
