Position Summary

The Environmental Services Technician is responsible for daily cleaning and supplying environmental services to healthcare areas. They assist staff as needed, take leadership under the supervisor's guidance, communicate effectively about productivity and safety barriers, and serve as an advocate for EVS staff.

Qualifications

• Reading and numerical competency.
• Previous housekeeping experience is a plus, preferably in healthcare.
• Ability to operate housekeeping equipment such as vacuums, buffers, mops, and carpet cleaners. Basic customer service skills are required.
