SUMMARY: The primary responsibility of this position is to perform janitorial services as a bus cleaner for Sun Metro buses.

Essential Functions

• Perform janitorial services as a bus cleaner for Sun Metro buses.

• Ability to mobilize (walk and stand) at least 6 hours per day is required.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Clean all interior windows of buses.
• Pick up trash surrounding the aisles of buses.
• Sweep and mop buses.
• Use cleaning chemicals regularly.
• Clean dashboards and railings.
• Fully clean all the seats of the buses.
• Perform these and other duties effectively, efficiently, and safely.
• Work with chemicals used for cleaning purposes.
• Maintain supplies and equipment in working order.
• Demonstrate good work habits and maintain a positive attitude.
• Adhere to safety rules.
• Maintain confidentiality regarding Goodwill Industries of El Paso, Inc. and persons receiving services.
• Report unusual or extraordinary circumstances regarding the building property.
• Maintain the required uniform and ensure a professional appearance and attitude at all times.
• Assist in other areas as requested.
• Utilize janitorial equipment properly.
• Relate fact-based observations verbally and in writing.
• Work non-regular hours (6:00 PM – 2:30 AM).
• Have reliable transportation.
• Work in outdoor weather conditions.
• Other requirements may be developed as necessary.
