First Call Hospitality, Inc. operates the Holiday Inn Lakefront in Detroit Lakes, MN, and this Assistant General Manager role supports the General Manager in running the property and delivering exceptional guest service.

This onsite leadership role combines hometown familiarity with the backing of a larger management company to provide strong support and growth opportunities. Candidates should have at least two years of managerial experience, excellent communication, and the ability to monitor

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years’ experience as a Manager or Supervisor.
• Strong ability to communicate effectively in all situations.
• Monitor costs and adjust according to market conditions.
• Manage, train and motivate a diverse team.

Responsibilities

• As the second-in-command to the property leadership team, the Assistant General Manager is responsible to assist with the overall operation of the property.
• They will report directly to the General Manager and be responsible to achieve the goals of the departments of the property to which they are assigned, but do so with the highest amount of integrity and continuous leadership.
• This position will be required to work evenings and at minimum two weekends a month.
