Holiday Inn Lakefront - Detroit Lakes, MN is seeking an Assistant General Manager to lead operations under the General Manager, delivering the brand’s hospitality standards in a scenic lakeside setting.

You will oversee daily hotel functions, manage a diverse team, work evenings and at least two weekends per month, and contribute to guest satisfaction while growing your career within First Call Hospitality.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years’ experience as a Manager or Supervisor.
• Strong ability to communicate effectively in all situations.

The Position

We’re looking for an Assistant General Manager for our hotel. This opportunity combines working for this hometown business with the benefit of working for a larger management company with all of its support and assistance to managing the hotel. The pay range is competitive and commensurate with experience.

The Responsibilities:

As the second-in-command to the property leadership team, the Assistant General Manager is responsible to assist with the overall operation of the property. They will report directly to the General Manager and be responsible to achieve the goals of the departments of the property to which they are assigned, but do so with the highest amount of integrity and continuous leadership. This position will be required to work evenings and at minimum two weekends a month.
