Monterey Embassy Suites in Seaside, CA is seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to lead a multi-disciplinary team responsible for safety, service and maintenance of all hotel systems. You will manage budgets, schedule work, and ensure compliance with safety codes.

You will coach technicians, plan capital projects, optimize preventive maintenance, and partner with leadership to deliver a superior guest experience. 5+ years in engineering and strong budget skills are required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in engineering and leadership experience.
• Proven ability to coach a team with accountability.
• Budgeting and P&L experience for RM and labor.
• Knowledge of applicable safety codes.
• Tech-savvy with CMMS and Workday systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead, train, and mentor an engineering team to maintain safety and standards.
• Diagnose and repair hotel systems while prioritizing uptime.
• Plan and execute capital and engineering budgets and forecasts.
• Manage inventory and scheduling for productivity.
• Support renovations and preventive maintenance projects.
