Job summary

Driftwood Hospitality Management is seeking a Chief Engineer to direct all engineering operations, including preventive maintenance, energy management, and asset protection, in alignment with the General Manager and brand standards.

The role requires a strong track record in engineering management, budget oversight, staff leadership, and adherence to safety and regulatory requirements across hotel properties.

Qualifications

• Five or more years of related experience in building management/engineering.
• Substantial and successful track record in profitable Engineering management.
• Familiarity with hospitality industry practices preferred.
• Minimum of three years of managerial skills.
• Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
• Computer literate in MS Word, Excel.
• Complex mathematical skills and ability to prepare budgets using Excel.

Responsibilities

• Direct all facets of Engineering in line with brand standards and GM guidance.
• Provide leadership to engineering staff, budgeting, asset protection, and preventive maintenance.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and national regulations; promote safety and quality.
• Inspect equipment and facilities; manage inventory and costs.
• Coordinate with corporate for asset tracking and reporting.
