The Mather in Tysons, Virginia, seeks an energetic Server to deliver high-end food and beverage service in a luxury senior living setting. You will engage residents and guests, share menu insights, and uphold strict service standards across multiple venues.

Qualifications

• Excellent interaction and communication skills.
• Demonstrates completion of assigned duties through effective teamwork.
• Strong hospitality service skills and a passion for interacting with people.
• 1 year or more of experience as a server in a full-service restaurant.
• Prior service experience in dining environment.
• Level 4 LobsterInk Certification.
• 2 or more years of server experience in an upscale restaurant.
• Event server knowledge and experience.
• Foundational level of wine knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Welcomes all tables with a warm and friendly greeting.
• Takes accurate food orders.
• Serves food and beverages across multiple venues with differing service styles.
• Provides recommendations based on guest preferences.
• Closes checks promptly and accurately.
• Maintains neat, professional appearance per standards.
• Completes side work and related tasks.
• Works with residents, peers, and managers in a team setting.
• Communicates resident and guest concerns to supervisors.
• Supports sanitation standards and department goals.
• Identifies improvement areas and participates in QA process changes.
