Job summary

Treasury Wine Estates, overseeing Beringer in Napa Valley, seeks an Assistant Hospitality Manager to lead a frontline team delivering high-volume guest experiences across tasting rooms, tours, and gift shops. You will set service and brand standards while guiding Knight’s Valley programs to growth.

You will coach staff, manage cash, schedules, and inventory, and partner with trade teams to exceed guest expectations and revenue goals in a luxury hospitality environment.

Qualifications

• Hospitality leadership experience in fast-paced guest-facing settings.
• Proven ability to drive sales growth while delivering memorable guest experiences.
• Experience leading large teams with training and motivation.
• Strong operational discipline: scheduling, cash handling, inventory.
• Clear communication with guests, team, and partners.
• Commitment to accuracy, consistency, and brand integrity in service and wine education.
• Willingness to work weekends/holidays and flexible schedule.
• Interest in international guests and cross-cultural hospitality experiences.

Responsibilities

• Manage and drive growth of the tasting room, historic caves, and gift shop, delivering elevated service with focus on Knight’s Valley portfolio.
• Manage and grow tour experiences, aligning offerings with guest demand, brand positioning, and revenue goals.
• Lead development and expansion of the Knight’s Valley Program.
• Partner with Trade teams, domestic and international, to host and accommodate consumers and partners.
• Oversee daily operations as Manager on Duty, including staffing, scheduling, cash handling, and service execution.
• Drive the culture in our hospitality academy to lead, train, and coach a large team to meet sales and guest targets.
• Monitor service delivery to ensure luxury-level consistency across tastings, tours, and retail interactions.
• Drive sales, wine club conversions, and average order value while managing labor, inventory, and costs.
• Resolve guest service and operational issues in real time with calm professionalism.
• Collaborate with Marketing, Events, and Central Operations on programming and experiences.
