Wellstar Health System in Magnolia, AR, seeks a Lead Environmental Services Technician for the Evening shift. You will lead labors, coordinate huddles, and ensure all hospital areas are clean, safe, and sanitary while handling regulated materials when needed.

The role requires 1+ year in healthcare cleaning, strong English communication, and ability to train staff and manage up. You will collaborate across departments to uphold safety and quality standards in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience in housekeeping/environmental services in Healthcare/Hospitality/Class A Commercial.
• Basic computer skills including Excel and Word; operate UV disinfecting technology; communicate effectively in English.
• Work in a fast paced environment with exposure to occupational risk factors; lead huddles and reassign staff.
• Perform terminal clean in OR, ER and IP care areas; serve as a front line team member in most areas.
• Train employees, act as a preceptor and ensure compliance with policies and regulations; problem solve and manage up.

Responsabilités

• Precept for new hires and lead on time demonstrations to drive performance.
• Inspect random areas to assess completion and quality of work.
• Maintain a safe environment following department policies for patients and staff.
• Perform full range of cleaning duties as required in Environmental Services.
• Reinforce departmental practices focused on HCAHP scores and HAIs.
• Ensure supplies and equipment are available; order supplies and manage inventory.
• Shift staff according to volumes to maximize productivity.
• Maintain courteous relationships with management, patients, physicians, and the public.
• Create first impressions, value patients and families, and uphold WellStar service standards.
• Attend mandatory training and participate in departmental meetings; provide notice for absences.
• Perform other duties as assigned and comply with WHS policies.
