Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of cook experience in a hospital or long-term care facility.
• ServSafe certificate required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to read and follow recipes and procedures.

Aufgaben

• Maintain kitchen and cooking area in a safe, orderly, clean and sanitary manner.
• Prepare meals in large quantities and follow prepared menus and portion guides.
• Record food temperatures and prepare specialized diets as needed.
• Assist with serving meals and supervise in the absence of the Dietary Supervisor.
• Ensure cleaning schedules are followed and collaborate with dietary staff.
