Qualifikationen

• PhD in a related technical discipline.
• 10+ years in advanced coating manufacturing and materials engineering.
• Proven track record deploying new material and coating technologies into production.
• Ability to lead technical teams and manage cross-functional projects.
• Willingness to travel up to 50% domestically and some international.

Aufgaben

• Serve as the technical expert for high-temperature coating manufacturing processes, providing expertise in materials selection, coating performance and process optimization.
• Lead qualification and approval of materials, processes, suppliers and manufacturing methods while ensuring compliance with engineering, customer and quality requirements.
• Drive implementation of new business initiatives, process transfers and continuous improvement initiatives across multiple manufacturing facilities.
• Establish and standardize technical standards, engineering methodologies and best practices to support operational excellence.
• Manage, mentor and develop engineers and technicians through training, competency development and team-building activities.
• Foster collaboration across Operations, Quality, Supply Chain and R&D to advance coating technologies, support commercialization efforts and drive innovation.
