Job summary

KIK Consumer Products seeks a seasoned manufacturing supervisor to lead a fast-paced filling-line crew in Salem, VA. You will mentor ~25 operators, drive safety, quality, and efficiency metrics, and partner with QA, Supply Chain, Maintenance, and HR to meet daily production goals.

The role emphasizes continuous improvement, strict adherence to GMP, and rigorous documentation of performance and training activities.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in manufacturing with 3+ years supervising.

Responsibilities

• Accountable for safe, efficient production on high-speed filling lines.
• Leads a crew of ~25 through 3rd Shift Leads, creating an engaged, accountable team.
• Owns metric performance: output, yields, downtime, waste, and labor efficiency.
• Champions GMP, sanitation, and regulatory compliance; ensures audit readiness at all times.
• Aligns cross-functional priorities daily with Production, QA, Supply Chain, Maintenance, and HR.
• Optimizes staffing to match demand and schedule; minimizes bottlenecks and changeover loss.
• Drives continuous improvement through Lean/6S methods that boost reliability and reduce costs.
• Maintains precise documentation: work orders, labor/time reporting, quality checks, performance tracking.
• Grows capability via training, safety programs, coaching, and policy-aligned corrective action.
