Job summary

KIK Consumer Products is hiring a Lead Machine Operator on 2nd shift to oversee filling and packaging operations. You will lead a team of operators, monitor line performance, and coordinate with Maintenance, Warehouse, and Quality to ensure safety, quality, and efficiency.

The role requires a strong background in high-speed automated lines, effective coaching, and adherence to GMP and safety standards. Compensation includes a competitive hourly rate and shift differential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 3+ years in a high-speed, automated filling/packaging environment.
• 1+ year as a Lead/Line Operator preferred.
• Advanced knowledge of production line equipment and processes.
• Proven ability to lead, train, and develop team members.

Responsibilities

• Oversee filling and packaging operations for assigned lines by directing manning and scheduling.
• Operate and monitor production equipment; respond to jams, quality issues, or disruptions.
• Monitor line performance and coordinate with Maintenance to address issues.
• Coach operators on machine operation, troubleshooting, quality checks, and safety practices.
• Maintain production and downtime records; review data with supervisors for improvements.
• Verify codes, fills, packaging integrity, and appearance; resolve non-conformances with Quality.
• Coordinate material flow, changeovers, and issue resolution with downline teams.
• Promote a Safety First culture and ensure GMP compliance.
