Job summary

KIK Consumer Products seeks a seasoned manufacturing supervisor to lead a fast-paced filling-line crew in Salem, VA. You will mentor ~25 operators, drive safety, quality, and efficiency metrics, and partner with QA, Supply Chain, Maintenance, and HR to meet daily production goals.

The role emphasizes continuous improvement, strict adherence to GMP, and rigorous documentation of performance and training activities.

• Accountable for safe, efficient production on high-speed filling lines.
• Leads a crew of ~25 through 3rd Shift Leads, creating an engaged, accountable team.
• Owns metric performance: output, yields, downtime, waste, and labor efficiency.
• Champions GMP, sanitation, and regulatory compliance; ensures audit readiness at all times.
• Aligns cross-functional priorities daily with Production, QA, Supply Chain, Maintenance, and HR.
• Optimizes staffing to match demand and schedule; minimizes bottlenecks and changeover loss.
• Drives continuous improvement through Lean/6S methods that boost reliability and reduce costs.
• Maintains precise documentation: work orders, labor/time reporting, quality checks, performance tracking.
• Grows capability via training, safety programs, coaching, and policy-aligned corrective action.

SundayThursday, 10:00 p.m.6:30 a.m.; overtime may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 5+ years in manufacturing with 3+ years supervising.
• Experience leading in fast-paced production environments with strong safety, quality, and KPI discipline.
• QMS knowledge (document control, deviations, corrective actions, audit readiness).
• Demonstrated ability to coach and hold teams accountable while fostering a positive culture.
• GMP, safety, and 6S/Lean fluency; experience delivering safety training and tracking compliance.
• Proven CI results: improved efficiency, reduced downtime, and sustained gains.
• Strong conflict resolution and change leadership.
• Cross-functional communication skills and partnership mindset.
• Microsoft Office and production reporting systems proficiency.
• High-speed automation experience; bottle filling equipment strongly preferred.

• Base salary of $80,000$85,000 plus eligibility for an annual incentive bonus (final offer depends on skills and experience).
