Job summary

Molex is seeking an experienced Electrical High-Speed Module Design Engineer to lead the design and qualification of active electrical cables (AECs) and active copper cables (ACCs) for AI, hyperscale data-center, data-storage, and telecoms.

You will lead from concept to high-volume production, coordinating with signal integrity, hardware, firmware, manufacturing, quality, program management, sales, suppliers, and test-labs to turn customer needs into manufacturable solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or closely related field.
• 7+ years in electrical or optical module design with demonstrated leadership.
• Strong analog circuit-design skills and high-speed signaling fundamentals.
• Experience delivering signal integrity, power integrity, and EMI solutions.
• Knowledge of PCB materials, fabrication, and board-level design cycles.
• Proven lab measurement, debugging, and root-cause analysis.

Responsibilities

• Lead the electrical and module design of AEC/ACC products through concept to production.
• Develop schedules, identify risks, coordinate dependencies, and drive progress.
• Collaborate across signal integrity, hardware, firmware, mechanical, and QA teams.
• Translate inputs from customers and markets into detailed design requirements.
• Create manufacturable designs meeting electrical, thermal, and EMI requirements.
• Address DFM issues with process and production engineering and suppliers.
• Engage with ASIC vendors and component suppliers to evaluate technologies.
• Provide hands-on support during prototypes, testing, and launches.
• Mentor junior engineers across multiple new-product projects.
• Travel as needed to collaborate with global teams and sites.
