Job summary

Molex is seeking an Electrical High-Speed Module Design Engineer to lead design and qualification of AECs and ACCs for AI, hyperscale data centers, data storage, and telecom. You will drive concept-to-production, coordinating with signal integrity, hardware, firmware, manufacturing, quality, and PM teams to translate customer needs into robust interconnect solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or closely related field.
• 3+ years in electrical or optical module design with demonstrated technical leadership.
• Analog circuit-design skills and knowledge of circuit theory, linear systems, feedback, and high-speed signaling fundamentals.
• Demonstrated ability to develop solutions involving signal integrity, power integrity, noise, thermal performance, and EMI.
• Basic knowledge of PCB materials, fabrication and board-level design cycles.
• Laboratory measurement, troubleshooting, and root-cause-analysis skills.
• Experience developing electronic products in a cross-functional environment.
• Ability to plan complex assignments, manage technical risk, and communicate with global stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead the electrical and module design of AEC and ACC products from concept through validation, qualification, and production launch.
• Develop micro engineering schedules, identify risks, coordinate dependencies, and drive design activities with minimal direction.
• Partner with signal integrity, hardware, firmware, mechanical, thermal, manufacturing, quality, PM, sales, and labs to deliver balanced solutions.
• Translate inputs from customers, marketing, application engineering, and external partners into product concepts and detailed design requirements.
• Develop cost-competitive, manufacturable designs meeting electrical, SI, power, thermal, EMI, reliability, and performance requirements.
• Resolve DFM issues with process engineering, production engineering, suppliers, and sites.
• Engage with ASIC vendors and suppliers to evaluate technologies and roadmaps.
• Provide hands-on support during prototype builds, lab characterization, qualification, and launches.
• Mentor less-experienced engineers across multiple NPD projects.
• Travel to collaborate with global teams, suppliers, customers, labs, and manufacturing sites.
