Job summary

Molex seeks an experienced Electrical High-Speed Module Design Engineer to lead design and qualification of AECs and ACCs for AI, hyperscale data centers, data-storage, and telecom applications. You will drive development from concept to production, collaborating with SI, hardware, firmware, manufacturing, and QA teams to deliver robust interconnect solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or closely related field.
• 7+ years in electrical or optical module design and development with leadership.
• Strong analog circuit-design skills and high-speed signaling fundamentals.
• Experience in signal integrity, power integrity, noise, thermal performance, EMI.
• In-depth PCB materials, fabrication, assembly, and board-level design cycles knowledge.
• Laboratory measurement, troubleshooting, and root-cause-analysis skills.
• Cross-functional product development experience.
• Ability to plan complex assignments and communicate with global stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead the electrical and module design of AEC and ACC products through development stages.
• Develop micro engineering schedules, identify risks, coordinate dependencies.
• Collaborate with signal integrity, hardware, firmware, mechanical, and manufacturing teams.
• Translate inputs into product concepts and design requirements.
• Develop manufacturable designs meeting electrical, thermal, and EMI requirements.
• Resolve DFM issues with process engineering, production teams, and suppliers.
• Engage with ASIC vendors and component suppliers on technologies and roadmaps.
• Provide hands-on support during prototypes, testing, and launch.
• Mentor engineers and guide multiple new-product-development projects.
• Travel as needed to collaborate with global teams and sites.
