Job summary

AMD is seeking a Sr. Rack and Chassis Design Mechanical Engineer in Austin, TX to drive mechanical design for flagship server and GPU products, from concept through production.

You will collaborate across mechanical, thermal, and structural teams to deliver robust, manufacturable solutions for data centers worldwide. Qualifications

• Senior/lead level server design experience.
• Proven experience in high-density server hardware.
• Experience with design for manufacturability and assembly (DFM/ DFA).

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with global team to define, design, and integrate mechanical systems for server products.
• Lead mechanical development across server design, system architecture, rack-level integration, and cooling solutions.
• Champion DFM and DFR for high-volume production.
• Participate in design reviews and provide actionable feedback on quality and cost.
