Qualifications

• Bachelor's in Medical Technology or Clinical Laboratory Science (Master's preferred).
• Minimum 2 years in a high-complexity clinical laboratory setting.
• Current MT/CLS certification by ASCP or equivalent preferred.
• Strong knowledge of high-complexity molecular diagnostic testing.
• Understanding of CLIA, CAP, and other regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate activities of laboratory personnel to ensure accurate and timely testing.
• Ensure compliance with CLIA, CAP and other guidelines.
• Implement and monitor quality control programs to maintain test integrity.
• Train, mentor, and evaluate laboratory staff.
• Collaborate with other departments to optimize workflows and efficiency.
• Develop and revise laboratory protocols and procedures to ensure best practices.
• Participate in hiring and performance evaluations.
• Manage laboratory inventory and calibration of equipment.
