Qualifications

• One year of clinical experience and six months of dialysis experience are required.
• Supervisory or management experience is preferred.
• Must successfully complete a training course in the theory and practice of hemodialysis.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day guidance and direction to direct patient care staff.
• Develop and distribute patient care assignments.
• Assess daily patient care needs and respond to dialysis treatments.
• Monitor and supervise patient care activity during dialysis.
• Admit new patients and educate patients and families about dialysis therapy.
