Job summary

Amentum is seeking an Aircraft Mechanic 2 (UH-60) to oversee and perform helicopter maintenance per manuals and procedures. The role requires leadership in complex tasks, knowledge of rotary-wing systems, and adherence to safety programs.

The candidate should have multiple years of aviation maintenance experience, a high school diploma, and an ability to obtain required clearances. Tools and PPE will be used regularly in a dynamic maintenance environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Three years aviation maintenance experience in the last six years.
• Three years rotary wing aircraft experience in the last six years.
• Two years on the assigned Mission Design Series (MDS).
• Valid Driver’s License.
• NACI Public Trust security clearance eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Oversees removal and installation of aircraft subsystem assemblies.
• Oversees lubrication and servicing of aircrafts and subsystems.
• Oversees preparation of aircraft for inspections and maintenance checks.
• Oversees and performs scheduled inspections and assists in special inspections.
• Oversees diagnosis of subsystems and use of required tools for maintenance.
