Job summary

TC Energy is seeking a lead operations professional to oversee the operation, maintenance, and construction of natural gas pipelines within a defined area. The role demands strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills, with a focus on safety and compliance in daily field activities.

You will operate heavy equipment, coordinate logistics, and support planning, inspections, and repairs while working with a union-represented team under a rotating shift and potential overtime.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proven ability to operate heavy equipment.
• Proven leadership and communication capabilities.
• Mechanical knowledge and experience.
• Ability to obtain required operator qualifications and CDL if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Operate a range of heavy equipment and trucks to maintain assets.
• Perform excavation, mowing, and road maintenance for asset access.
• Coordinate safety meetings and document work in the Work Management system.
• Assist with planning, permitting, and leak repairs as needed.
• Support asset inspections, maintenance planning, and safety compliance.
