Job summary

TC Energy is seeking a lead field operations professional to support the operation, maintenance, and construction of natural gas pipelines across designated areas. The role requires strong leadership, communication, and hands-on skills to manage field crews and equipment.

You will coordinate with contractors, landowners, and government agencies, ensure safety compliance, and contribute to planning and execution of projects.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proven ability to operate heavy equipment.
• Proven leadership and communication capabilities.
• Ability to obtain operator qualifications and DOT/CDL.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Valid Class A CDL with tank, trailer, and hazardous-materials endorsements, or ability to obtain them.
• Ability to operate a UTV when required.

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy-duty equipment including bulldozers, skid steers, backhoes, and excavators.
• Operate heavy trucks to transport supplies.
• Perform excavation and maintenance to assets.
• Coordinate safety, work planning, and team meetings.
• Maintain daily logs and documentation in the Work Management system.
• Support leak repairs, pigging operations, and asset protection tasks.
• Submit permits and One Call notifications as required.
• Read maps and interpret pipeline route information.
