Job summary

Pape’ Kenworth is seeking an Advanced Truck Technician / Mechanic to diagnose, repair, and maintain medium and heavy Class 7 & 8 trucks. You will lead by example, uphold the highest standards of safety, quality, and professionalism while mentoring fellow technicians in the shop.

Your daily focus includes analyzing complex malfunctions, selecting the best repair strategy, and performing engine, transmission, axle, steering, brakes, and electrical repairs to maximize uptime and first-time fixes.

Qualifications

• 5+ years experience working on medium/heavy-duty Class 7/8 trucks including engine repair, electronic troubleshooting, HVAC and chassis repair.
• Basic computer knowledge and ability to work with diagnostics.
• Kenworth Essentials certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead diagnostics, repair and maintenance of Class 7/8 trucks; uphold safety, quality and professionalism.
• Mentor and provide technical guidance to other technicians in the shop.
• Analyze complex mechanical/electronic malfunctions and execute repairs or rebuilds of major systems.
