Pape’ Kenworth, a premier medium and heavy-duty truck and equipment dealer in the West, is seeking a Premier Truck Technician / Mechanic to join our team. You will lead diagnostics and advanced repairs on Class 7 & 8 trucks and mentor peers in a safety-focused environment.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience working on medium and heavy-duty class 7/8 trucks, including engine repair, electronic trouble-shooting, HVAC systems, and chassis repair.
• Basic computer knowledge; Cummins and MX software experience preferred.
• Self-motivation and assertiveness; ability to work under little or no supervision.
• Excellent communication and customer relations skills; must provide own tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex diagnostics and repairs for medium and heavy-duty Class 7 & 8 trucks, ensuring peak condition.
• Oversee and perform precision diagnostics and repairs; mentor other technicians.
• Promote safety, quality, and continuous improvement in the shop.
• Troubleshoot and repair engines, transmissions, axles, steering, brakes, clutches, electrical and air systems; perform preventive maintenance.
