Job summary

Republic Services, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Lead Technician to direct a team of technicians in repairing and maintaining heavy trucks and refuse equipment, ensuring safety standards and regulatory compliance on-site.

You will diagnose complex issues, coach staff, schedule repairs, and inspect work, with opportunities to mentor others while contributing to safe, efficient shop operations.

Qualifications

• Three years minimum as a technician on heavy-duty trucks.

Responsibilities

• Direct technicians to perform safe, efficient repairs and maintenance.
• Diagnose complex issues and provide coaching on diagnostic techniques.
• Plan and schedule repair work to minimize lost productivity.
• Inspect repairs and ensure compliance with safety procedures and regulations.
• Act as a mentor to technicians and handle supervisor duties as needed.
