Job summary

Republic Services is looking for a Maintenance Technician A to perform repair and maintenance on diesel and non-diesel equipment and trucks. You will work on chassis components, refuse bodies, air braking, engines, HVAC, and drive trains, supporting drivers and maintaining state-of-the-art fleet.

You will diagnose multi-system issues, repair complex systems, and participate in ongoing training programs while contributing to community service and safety.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years of experience as a technician on heavy-duty trucks.
• ASE Heavy Truck Certifications (T1–T8) are a plus but not required.
• CDL B or higher is a plus but not required.
• Experience with LNG and/or CNG is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose multi-system issues and perform complex repair maintenance on-site or on the road.
• Chassis component repair and maintenance; brakes and air systems.
• Engine repair and diagnostics and fuel systems analysis.
• Suspension, drive train, steering and HVAC systems maintenance.
• Complete understanding of Aftertreatment systems and REGEN diagnostics.
