Job summary
Republic Services is seeking a Maintenance Lead Technician to lead a team of technicians in performing repairs and maintenance on chassis, refuse bodies, and related systems. The role emphasizes safety, quality, and timely completion of work on site and in the field.

Qualifications
- Experience repairing chassis and refuse bodywork.
- Knowledge of air and hydraulic braking systems.
- Experience with engine, suspension, drivetrain and HVAC systems.
- Welding and fabrication experience.
- Ability to supervise and schedule repairs.
- Ability to inspect repairs and ensure safety compliance.
Responsibilities
- Maintains expert knowledge of vehicle components and systems, performing complex repair and maintenance on-site and on the road.
- Provide direction to technicians to ensure safe, efficient, and timely work; plan and schedule repairs to minimize lost productivity.
- Inspect third-party repairs for safety compliance and proper completion; follow up when needed.
- Perform diagnostic work on complex issues and identify malfunction sources with electronic tools.
- Complete applicable company training programs.
