Job summary

FlatironDragados in Honolulu is seeking an experienced Superintendent to lead heavy civil construction projects, focusing on scheduling, coordinating, and supervising production and workforce to ensure quality and on-time delivery.

You will collaborate with field engineers, subcontractors, and equipment teams to manage budgets, ensure compliance with contract drawings and specs, and enforce safety practices across the site.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of heavy civil construction experience.
• 5+ years construction management.
• Safety Trained Supervisor (STS) certification preferred.
• Ability to read, analyze and interpret plans and specs.

Responsibilities

• Plan work methods, materials, equipment needs and work schedule.
• Coordinate with field teams, engineers and utilities to identify hazards.
• Coordinate with equipment providers to ensure proper gear and quantities.
• Monitor progress, forecast issues and recommend mitigations.
