Job summary

Waymark is seeking a seasoned Director of Implementation in the San Francisco Bay Area to lead end-to-end healthcare implementations, including new geographies and MCO/provider contracts. You will manage multi-workstream projects, orchestrate cross-functional teams, and align internal teams with external partners to deliver value-driven care models.

You will build scalable processes, governance, and playbooks while driving continuous improvement and stakeholder alignment at all levels.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in healthcare services implementation, program management, or operations.
• Deep expertise in formal project management: workplans, milestones, dependencies, risk/issue tracking, governance, status reporting.
• Experience managing relationships with health plans, provider groups, and external partners at all levels.
• Cross-functional leadership in matrixed, fast-paced environments.
• Excellent written and verbal communication for executives and external partners.
• Experience with technology platforms and using data to guide operational decisions.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end delivery of large, multi-workstream implementations—new markets and MCO/provider contracts.
• Develop and maintain project plans, milestones schedules, resource plans, dependency maps, and critical paths.
• Establish and run governance: charters, RACI, cadences, executive status reporting.
• Identify and mitigate risks, issues, and dependencies; escalate to stay on schedule.
• Guide external partners through onboarding and data exchange with Waymark’s care model.
• Build and mentor a high-performing implementation team and scalable playbooks.
