Job summary

Wimmer Solutions Corporation is seeking an experienced Engineering Lead to drive analog and digital circuit design, PCB implementation, and production‑level hardware development. The role requires hands‑on experience from concept through schematic capture, simulation, PCB layout oversight, bring up, validation, and release to manufacturing.

The candidate will independently design robust circuits, evaluate component tradeoffs, and deliver low‑noise, production‑ready hardware.

Qualifications

• 10–20 years of professional experience in electronics hardware design.
• Strong analog circuit design experience including op amps and sensors.
• Solid experience with digital interfaces (SPI, I2C, UART, USB, LVDS).
• PCB design and layout with high-speed routing and impedance control.
• Schematic capture and simulation tools proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Architect, design, and validate analog, mixed signal, and digital circuits for new products and internal platforms.
• Own the full hardware development cycle: requirements schematic design simulation PCB layout guidance bring up test release.
• Perform detailed component selection, derating analysis, and design reviews for power, signal integrity, and reliability.
• Develop and maintain schematics, BOMs, and design documentation using CAD tools (PADS, etc.).
• Collaborate with PCB layout engineers to ensure proper stack up, routing, grounding, impedance control, and EMI/EMC compliance.
• Execute hardware bring up, debugging, and validation using oscilloscopes and lab equipment.
• Support DFM/DFT, work with contract manufacturers, and resolve issues during prototype and production builds.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of hardware design practices, test methods, and internal standards.
